Geraniol. Geraniol Natural 85%+ by Van Aroma acts as a fragrance ingredient. It is derived from various essential oils including citronella oil, East-Indian geranium oil and rose oil. It can be obtained by distillation of the natural oil or by beta-pinene through series of reactions. It offers a fresh and natural scent in cosmetic preparations. Geraniol Natural 85%+ is recommended for formulating moisturizer, sunscreen, makeup and hair care products (hairspray, styling gel, shampoo, conditioner). It complies with US FDA 21 CFR 182.60 regulations. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
