Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil and Lauric Acid and Hydrogenated Castor Oil and Beeswax and Calcium Stearate and Rosemary Extract. It is a thickener, moisturizing and antioxidant active. The newest innovation in natural petrolatum replacements and a vegetable based petrolatum which uses lauric acid as a medium chain fatty acid, found naturally in coconut oil. It acts where moisturizing properties of petrolatum are required but a vegetable source is necessary. Also found to enhance stability of the product. Applications includes creams, lotions, lip care products, body washes, hair care products and may other applications where its occlusive properties can benefit the formulation.
