Commiphora Abyssinica (Myrrh) Resin Extract. Myrrh CO2 SE Extract by The Herbarie acts as a fixative for scent and an anti-inflammatory agent. It is obtained from the resins of commiphora abyssinica by using pure and environmentally friendly supercritical fluid (natural carbon dioxide) extraction technique. It contains volatile essential oil as well as traces of lipophilic components such as sesquiterpene hydrocarbons and furanosesquiterpenes. It does not contain solvent residues, additives, inorganic salts or heavy metals. Moreover, it is not blended or diluted. Myrrh CO2 SE Extract finds application in formulating scents, aromatherapy creams & lotions and other cosmetic & toiletry products.
