Cetyl Ester Wax SP-220

Cetyl Esters. Cetyl Ester Wax SP-220 by Strahl & Pitsch acts as a film former and lubricant. It is readily emulsified and improves the stability & viscosity. It is used in emulsions and anhydrous products to impart a lubricious feel and soft gloss to many formulations.

• It consists primarily of esters of saturated fatty acids and fatty alcohols.
• It is used as a stiffening agent and emollient in creams, lotions and ointments.
• It increases viscosity and can improve stability in cosmetic formulations.
• It is compatible with many vegetable and mineral waxes and a variety of natural and synthetic ingredients.
• It is applicable for antiperspirants & deodorants, baby Lotion and lipstick.
