Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate. STEPANOL® ALS-70 by Stepan Company is an anionic surfactant. It exhibits foaming and viscosity building characteristics. It offers characteristics such as lowered cloud point, easier handling properties, better aesthetics and biodegradability. STEPANOL® ALS-70 is used in low pH shampoos and other personal cleansing applications such as hand soaps and bath products.
