Silwax® D02

Ethyl Methicone. Silwax® D02 by Siltech is a low carbon content, D5 alternative alkyl methicone. It is designed to have dry feel of cyclomethicone and is free of D₄ and D₅. It offers excellent lubricity and skin feel. The alkyl groups make it more compatible with many organic systems. Silwax® D02 is used in antiperspirants, hair glossers, resins, moisturizers, lotions and pigmented products. The shelf life of this ingredient is 36 months.
