CI 77499 (and) Triethoxysilylethyl Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Hexyl Dimethicone. KTP-09B by Shin-Etsu is silicone/alkyl surface treated, black iron oxide pigment. It exhibits high hydrophobicity and excellent dispersing- & wetting performance in a wide range of oils.

It imparts a silky feel and offers water repellency & good skin adherence.
It inhibits pigment aggregation and colored streaks in emulsified systems.
KTP-09B is recommended for formulating color cosmetics including liquid foundation and lip color.
