Diphenylsiloxy Phenyl Trimethicone (and) Dimethicone/PEG-10/15 Crosspolymer. KSG-270 by Shin-Etsu is a self-emulsifying silicone elastomer with exceptionally silky and smooth skin feel.

It is intended to be versatile and simple to use, allowing the formulator to create products with a wide range of textures.
It can stabilize emulsions with much larger particle size distribution than conventional emulsifiers, which is essential for light and fresh skin feel.
It has excellent compatibility and thickening in organic oils.
The stabilization mechanism also allows for low shear emulsification, with no need for homogenization.
