Crocus sativus Flower Extract (and) Butylene Glycol (and) Water. Gerbex® Crocus by Shanghai JAKA Biotech exhibits anti-inflammatory and antioxidative effects. It is a preservative and pesticide-free herbal extract liquid. It shows a strong capacity of scavenging OH and hindering the lipid peroxidation induced by hydroxyl free radicals. It can effectively inhibit the activity of oxygen-free radicals and xanthine oxidase. It can restrain the LPS-induced secretion of NO, TNF-a, PEG2 & IL-6 in Raw264.7 cells and the expression of COX-2 protein. It can also enhance skin brightness.
