Diisopropyl Adipate. Di-isopropyl Adipate Di-Ester by Seqens is an emollient and plasticizer in cosmetics. It acts as a cleaning agent & lubricant on the skin surface which gives the skin a soft and smooth appearance. It offers rapid absorbency and low residual tack. The solvent properties of this product allow it to be used as carrier for other cosmetic ingredients and to soften synthetic compounds by reducing brittleness & cracking. It is biodegradable & suitable for processing at room temperature. Di-isopropyl Adipate Di-Ester is used in hydro-alcoholic formulations such as shaving lotions, hand lotions, grooming & sun-care products, moisturizers and lipsticks. Its shelf life is 2 years.
