Cichorium Intybus Root Extract. FRUCTAN GUM by Sensient Cosmetic Technologies is a 100% natural thickening agent. It is a root extract derived from chicory and contains no carboxymethylation. It is highly thixotropic and provides a moisturizing effect. It provides creamy skin feel without oil and good tack at high concentration. It offers soft skin peeling when used without dispersion at high shear at 70°C. It forms shear resistance film with melting texture on skin. It exhibits excellent dispersing ability with pigment, pearls and powders. FRUCTAN GUM is suggested for use in bar soap, bath & shower, eye, face, lip, liquid, makeup and skincare products.
