Kojic Acid Dipalmitate. Kojic Dipalmitate distributed by SCP acts as a skin-whitening and lightening agent. It is a stable derivative of kojic acid and is a tyrosine inhibitor which prohibits formation of melanin. It does not react to metal ions, thereby allows color stable formulation. It is upcycled from rice water and provides sun protection, anti-pigmentation & dark spot correction. It is stable in a wide range of pH, light and heat. It is used in skin cream, lotion, serum, gel, and mask applications. Applications include under-eye & under-arm skin lightening products, face, lip, and body care. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
