Imidazolidinyl Urea. Salimid -115 by Salicylates and Chemicals is a synthetic preservative. It provides a broad spectrum against gram-negative & gram-positive bacteria, yeast and mold when used with paraben.

It is produced by the chemical reaction of allantoin and formaldehyde in the presence of sodium hydroxide solution and heat.
It is suitable for cosmetics and personal care products including lotions, creams, hair conditioners, shampoos and deodorants.
The shelf life of Salimid -115 is 2 years.
