Propylparaben. Saligin PP by Salicylates and Chemicals is a preservative, antifungal agent and antimicrobial agent. It is non-irritant with low toxic level and is effective at low concentration.

It is readily metabolized by common soil bacteria, making it completely biodegradable.
It is incompatible with some proteins.
It exhibits broad spectrum toward bacteria, yeast and mold
It is suitable for water-based cosmetics including creams, lotions, shampoos, bath products, makeup, moisturizers, hair care and shaving products.
It is approved by USFDA for cosmetic antibacterial preservation.
The shelf life of Saligin PP is 5 years.
