UpSycal® BA17 by RiKarbon is a soft, silky, stable, scent-free emollient. It is a branched hydrocarbon oil comprised of 100% biobased and upcycled carbon. It is sourced from agricultural waste materials/non-edible feedstock and is manufactured with green chemistry principles. It offers great spreading, low greasiness and high absorbancy compared to other emollients.

It is a biobased alternative to silicone compounds, petroleum-derived hydrocarbons and esters.
It allows the formulation of more natural, sustainable, stable, label friendly.
It offers low viscosity lubricant products with all the aesthetics, safety, and performance.
UpSycal® BA17 is recommended for color cosmetics, skin and hair care applications.
