Annatto Tocotrienol™

Annatto Tocotrienol™ by New Max Industrial is rich in tocotrienol, an excellent antioxidant ideal for the manufacturing of natural tanning oils and sunscreen lotions. It also fights free radicals that contribute to the aging process. Tocotrienols shows great effects on the protection and restoration of skin through oral or topical application. It reduces hyperpigmentation, repair cutaneous skin damage in wounds, protect against exposure to light, suppress skin cancer and promotes healing of wounds caused by methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacteria. It is extracted from annatto seeds and fractionated without using organic solvents, in the forms with greater antioxidant power (gamma and delta-tocotrienol) and essentially free of tocopherols. The delta- and gamma-tocotrienol forms present greater capacity in reducing skin pigmentation and blemishes, inhibiting melanin synthesis. Delta-tocotrienol has a sun protection factor (SPF) of 5.5 and shows the ability to suppress melanoma. Annatto Tocotrienol™ has 100% natural color and can be added to lipsticks, nail polishes and makeup. It is available in a concentration higher than 50%, containing its isoform with higher antioxidant activity (delta-tocotrienol) in the approximate proportion of 90%. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
