Pongamia Glabra (Karanja) Seed Oil. Acts as an emollient. It is pressed from the seeds of the pongam tree. It is used for mature, aging, damaged, dry, cracked skin and brittle, damaged hair. Very effective in treatment of eczema, psoriasis, skin ulcers, dandruff and promotes wound healing. Possesses insecticidal and antiseptic properties. Recommended for inclusion in moisturizers, hair care and lip care products. It has a shelf life of 18 months.
