Trimethylsiloxysilicate. SR1000 resin by Momentive Performance Materials acts as a film former. Possesses high substantivity, smooth non-tacky feel and versatility of carrier choice. It is a silicone resin having excellent water resistance. It improves adhesion and shows resistance to water and sweat.

It exhibits film flexibility, retention of SPF after immersion in water and reduced product transfer.
SR1000 resin is used in protective skin products, sunscreen products, facial make-up, lotions, creams and color cosmetics.
