Zinc Oxide (CI 77947). Eusolex® Z-TEC by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt Germany is an optimized UV filter. It is an uncoated pure microfine zinc oxide with an isometric crystal form that provides highly effective broad-spectrum UV-B & UV-A protection.

It has amphiphilic surface character.
It enables all-mineral high SPF sunscreens with excellent transparency on skin.
Used for any type of cosmetic and OTC sunscreen applications, emulsions, creams, fluids, foundations and moisturizers.
Eusolex® Z-TEC is COSMOS approved and meets current pharmacopoeia regulations and fulfilling EC No. 1223/2009.
