Glycerin (40-60%) (and) Aqua (40-60%) (and) Althaea Officinalis Root Extract (2-3%) (and) Potassium Sorbate (0.2-0.3%) (and) Sodium Benzoate (0.2-0.3%). Marshmallow Root Extract by MakingCosmetics is a plant-based soothing agent. This high-purity extract is obtained from european marshmallow roots. It is well-known for its anti-irritant- and emollient properties. This grade contains 2-3% extract, dissolved in water & glycerin (derived from natural oils) and preserved with sodium benzoate & potassium sorbate. It contains mucilage which is rich in asparagine, pectin, starch, polysaccharides, betaine, tannins, galacturonic acid, glucuronic acid and galactose, mineral salts, and vitamins (A, C, E and B complex). It also provides effective moisturizing properties. Marshmallow Root Extract is ideal for irritated- and sensitive skin. It is used in pre/after sun lotions, hydrating skin care products, baby care products, under-eye treatments and hair care products. It is organic & vegan certified as well as GMO- & pesticide-free. The shelf life is 18 months.
