Lactic Acid

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by MakingCosmetics
Lactic Acid (88-92%) (and) Aqua (8-12%). Lactic Acid by MakingCosmetics is a peeling agent. It is naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acid produced by bacterial fermentation (various Lactobacilli) of carbohydrates (sugar, starch). It rejuvenates the skin by encouraging the shedding of old surface skin cells. It can reduce the appearance of fine lines, irregular pigmentation, age spots & decreases enlarged pores. Suitable for sensitive skin and first-time peel users. Lactic Acid is often used in creams & lotions at a lower concentration for a more gentle acid-based peel. It is also used in masks and cleansers. It is vegan and GMO-, preservative-free. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
