Glycerin (and) Aqua (and) Aesculus hippocastanum Seed Extract (and) Phenoxyethanol. Horse Chestnut Extract by MakingCosmetics acts as an astringent. It is obtained from the whole plant of horse chestnut. It contains 20% extract dissolved in water & glycerin (from naturally derived oils) and is preserved with phenoxyethanol. It possesses soothing-, anti-irritant- and toning properties. It is widely used in products for aged- and fragile skin and for anti-blotchiness. It consists of fatty acids, proteins and short-chain sugars which help to repair hair damaged by dyes, hair dryers and chemical treatments. It does not cause buildup. Horse Chestnut Extract is used in creams & lotions, shampoos & conditioners, hair masks, body wraps, face cleansers, toners, moisturizers and gels. It is organic and vegan certified as well as GMO- & pesticide-free grade. The shelf life is 24 months from production date.
