Technical Datasheet | Supplied by MakingCosmetics
Glycolic Acid (70%) (and) Aqua (30%). Glycolic Acid by MakingCosmetics is a peeling agent. It can reduce the appearance of fine lines, irregular pigmentation, age spots & decreases enlarged pores. It rejuvenates the skin by encouraging the shedding of old surface skin cells. It is very useful in exfoliating products as alpha-hydroxy acid peel or in creams & lotions at a lower concentration for a more gentle acid-based peel. It is produced by hydrolysis of molten monochloroacetic acid with 50% aqueous sodium hydroxide at 90-130°C. Glycolic Acid is used in peels, masks and cleansers. It is vegan and GMO-, preservative-free. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
