Ethylbisiminomethylguaiacol Manganese Chloride. EUK-134™ by Lucas Meyer Cosmetics (IFF) is a preservative-free, multi-functional, super antioxidant and powerful free radical scavenger with self-regenerating property. It is a biomimetic of catalase and superoxide dismutase (SOD) enzyme. It protects against free radicals, DNA damages and reduces erythema. It helps prevent premature aging and scavenges superoxide free radicals, eliminates hydrogene peroxide (H₂O₂) and transforms ROS into water and oxygen which are beneficial for the skin. It reduces photoaging, protects the skin and its DNA from sun damage. It inhibits MMP-2, thus preserving a good ECM network. It reduces damages caused by UV and skin free radical activity. EUK-134™ is used in prevention of DNA damage, DNA repair, anti-irritant, anti-stress, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and sun care products. It is complementary to SPF ingredient. It is China compliant.
