Vida-Care VAC

Copolymer of vinyl acetate and crotonic acid. Vida-Care VAC acts as a film former and fixative agent. It is a linear anionic copolymer which forms clear, soft and flexible film with good humidity resistance. It has strong cohesive properties making the resulting films suitable for peel-off applications when used with appropriate plasticizers. In styling, Vida-Care VAC provides a natural-feeling hold and imparts added bounce to curls. The flexible nature of films allows for creation of re-workable creams, putties and pastes. Moreover, it is soluble in esters and ketones but soluble in ethanol and water only when appropriately neutralized. Vida-Care VAC finds application in formulating pump hairspray, styling mousse, aqueous or anhydrous creams, putties, gels, wash-off masks etc. Complies with Cosmetics Regulation [EC] No1223/2009.
