Polyisobutene. KVIS-100 by Kothari Petrochemicals acts as a plasticizer and wetting agent. It is a pure, chemically inert, hydrophobic, non-toxic, synthetic hydrocarbon polymer.

It shows excellent resistance to oxidative and thermal degradation.
It is suitable for formulating lip glosses and roll-on deodorants.
Because of high purity, KVIS-100 can also be used to replace fatty esters and other expensive oils in the personal care products.
It has a shelf life of 12 months.
