TiO2-IR300-11S2

Titanium Dioxide (97-99%) and Triethoxycaprylylsilane (0.5-3%). TiO2-IR300-11S2 by Kobo Products acts as a dispersant and treated pigment. It is treated with Kobo's 11S (Triethoxy Caprylylsilane), a very reactive surface treating agent. It blocks infrared radiations (IR-A). This treatment forms a very stable coating even at low pH. They are easy to disperse in esters, hydrocarbons, mineral oils and silicone fluids like cyclomethicones. It has zero hydrogen potential and no residual methanol. Offers high pigment loading, maximum water repellency with low surface tension and poor wettability. TiO2-IR300-11S2 finds application in formulating sunscreens. Complies with TSCA, DSL/NDSL, EINECS/ELINCS, ENCS, IECSC, KECL, PICCS and AICS.
