Cyclopentasiloxane. SeraSense® SF CM5 by KCC Beauty acts as an emollient and solvent. It is a cyclic volatile silicone fluid with a transient emolliency. It exhibits non skin-cooling vaporization, excellent spread quality and non-flammability. It is a non-VOC cosmetic solvent and provides easy rub-out, non-greasy, soft & silky skin feel. It is soluble in alcohol and many other solvents. SeraSense® SF CM5 finds application in formulating antiperspirant, deodorant, color cosmetics, sun-care, skin lotions, hair sprays, nail polishes, shaving lotions, perfumes and colognes.
