Hydrolyzed Sunflower Seed Wax. 6607H Sunflower Hydrowax by kahlWax is an entirely hydrolyzed sunflower seed wax. It acts as an outstanding co-emulsifier leading at low concentrations (0.5–1.5%) to very high viscosity in W/O emulsions. It is more hydrophilic and polar as the regular wax due to hydrolysis. It is used in O/W emulsions forming a stabilizing network supporting body, texture and substantivity. It is utilized as an opacifier for shampoos and hair conditioning formulations as an alternative to fatty alcohol. 6607H Sunflower Hydrowax possesses superb velvety skin feel and is an ideal choice for every cream or lotion.
