The extremely controlled synthesis of Ceraphor™ SW ensures consistent physical properties. It improves oil binding with common oil phase ingredients, especially silicones in hair care formulations. It can stabilize emulsions and provides body. It forms stable oil gels. It is odorless, inert and non-polar. It offers reliable crystallization for hot pour processes. It is recommended for anhydrous systems (lipsticks, eyeliners etc), balms, AP/deodorant and sun care. It is used in sunscreen to improve temperature stability.
