Tertiary Butyl Hydroquinone. Danox 100 TBHQ acts as an antioxidant and protective agent. It exhibits an excellent stabilizing effect in unsaturated fats and oils, particularly in polyunsaturated vegetable oils and in edible animal fats. Its recommended dosage rate is 100–200 ppm. Used in cosmetic care products.
