Paraffin. HYCOS 80 by Hywax is a GMO-, BHT- & preservative-free highly pure synthetic hard wax, derived from natural gas. It is odorless & inert and helps to stabilize the emulsion. It is free from any additives, allergens or antioxidants.

• It forms stable oil gels and improves the oil binding capacity, especially with linear silicones, used in hair care products.
• It exhibits controlled melting behavior and improved temperature resistance.
• It is ideal for use in stick formulations including antiperspirants, deodorants & lipsticks as it promotes effective stable crystallization with proper film and gloss.
