Butylated hydroxytoluene. BHT by Hallstar acts as an antioxidant. It is used in after sun skin care, antiperspirants, bar soaps, beach wear sun care, sun care, deodorants andcolor cosmetics. It is also used in hair conditioners, hand & body care, lip care, liquid hand soaps, shampoos, shaving products and shower gels/body washes. It is readily fat-soluble and sparingly water soluble. It extends the shelf life of products with unsaturated (and especially polyunsaturated) fatty acid moieties.
