Coconut Alkanes (and) Polysilicone-11 (and) Water (and) Butylene Glycol (and) Polysorbate 20 (and) Decyl Glucoside. Gransil SiW-GVL by Grant Industries is silicone-in-water dispersion in coconut alkanes, high viscosity version. Coconut alkanes is an Ecocert approved, vegetable derived emollient. It has similar volatility profile as cyclopentasiloxane (D5). It provides enhanced aesthetics to formulations (unique formula break upon application) and acts as stable delivery vehicle for active materials. It allows the addition of elastomers and powders into difficult formulating settings. Minimal or no additional emulsifier requirement; reduces possible irritation profile. It delivers excellent non-tacky, non-oily, smooth characteristics. It is designed for enhanced stability and formulation ease. It is mixed directly with aqueous phase at suggested levels. Also helps in transformation into matte appearance with powdery after feel. It is formulated into water systems at 60°C or below. It is also added to all emulsion types for improved skin feel. Gransil SiW-GVL is used in skin care, color cosmetic, sun care and hair care formulations.
