Dihydroxyacetone. Vegetan® Gold by Givaudan Active Beauty acts as a self-tanning agent. It is an entrapped DHA in a microemulsion. It offers coloration of the upper skin layers without sun exposure, through a harmless reaction. It provides natural & water-resistant tan and fast & long lasting coloring. It controls the tanning shade, depending on the number of applications and the concentration of DHA. Vegetan® Gold is used in transparent and oil soluble self-tanning products. It is used in easy to spread- & transparent oily self tanner.
