Candida bombicola/ Glucose/ Methyl Rapeseedate Ferment. Sopholiance™ by Givaudan active beauty acts as an antimicrobial agent. Exhibits anti-lipase activity. It is a mixture of non-ionic sophorose-lipids prepared by yeast fermentation on plant substrates (wheat and colza). Sopholiance™ shows specific anti-bacterial activity against gram (-), such as corynebacterium xerosis and propionibacterium acnes. Used in skin care products and deodorants.
