Galactaric Acid. Muciliance® Fruit by Givaudan Active Beauty acts as an antioxidant & antipollution agent. It is a natural alternative to EDTA that protects the skin from oxidative stress. It prevents premature aging and also protects cosmetic products from bacteria proliferation by potently sequestering calcium ions. It also protects the skin from environmental aggressions and sequesters oxidation promoters such as heavy metals & limits lipidic peroxidation. Muciliance® Fruit is used in skin protection-, anti-aging- and anti-pollution products.
