Sea Water Extract. Eau de Source Marine (Spring Sea Water) by Givaudan Active Beauty acts as a cutaneous moisturizing/hydrating-, regenerating-, repairing- and revitalizing agent. It is unique water drawn in brittany from a natural reservoir more than 22m in depth. It contains phenoxyethanol as preservative. Spring sea water contains a much higher level of manganese and silicium. It lowers the trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) by stimulating the production of endogenous skin lipids. It improves the circulation of water in the skin by increasing the number of hemidesmosomes (derma-epidermal links). Used in moisturizing care and nasal hygiene products. Eau de Source Marine (Spring Sea Water) is China (CTFA List 2004) & Cosmos (for 80%) approved.
