Styrax Tonkinensis Resin Extract. BENZOIN SUMATRA RES by Firmenich is a natural, non-GMO, perfumery ingredient. It is mainly extracted from gum. It is produced by using Resinoid technology, where a primary extraction with a volatile solvent on fresh or dry biomass yields to a concrete or resinoid. The Absolute is obtained via a second purification step in the process.

• It is more spicy and cinnamic but less gourmand than Benzoin Siam extracts.
