AMBRETTE ABS

AMBRETTE ABS by Firmenich is a natural, non-GMO, perfumery ingredient. It has ambrette, powdery, and orris notes. It is produced by using Absolute technology, where a primary extraction with a volatile solvent on fresh or dry biomass yields to a concrete or resinoid. The Absolute is obtained via a second purification step in the process.

• It is rich, with musky, sweet, and floral facets. It also has slightly animalic, fruity and anisic, with a good tenacity.
• It is widely used as a light musk bottom note for delicate florals, as well as an accessory note in oriental perfumes.
• It is recommended for fragrance.
