TEGOSOFT® GMC 6 MB

PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides. TEGOSOFT® GMC 6 MB by Evonik is a solubilizer, hydrophilic emollient and superfatting agent. It is stable in the medium pH range (app. 5 to 8). This ingredient leaves a pleasant skin feel and provides good foam quality. It is clearly soluble in aqueous surfactant solutions. It solubilizes oils and oil-soluble ingredients (eg. menthol, salicylic acid and its derivatives, camphor). TEGOSOFT® GMC 6 MB is used in skin cleansing preparations, bath oils, facial cleansers and hair rinsing products. It can be used in mild shampoos, shower and bath preparation.
