Diethylhexyl succinate. KAK DIOS by Estenity acts as a solubilizer for UV absorbers. It is a low viscosity succinic acid ester oil, derived from fatty acids and alcohol of petroleum. It provides light and dry feeling. Moreover, it increases the hardness of solid mixtures by combination of hydrocarbon and vegetable wax. KAK DIOS finds application in formulating conditioners, styling aids, foundation & bases and hair-treatment products.
