Bentonite (and) Xanthan Gum. PURABYK -R 5510 by Eckart is a thickening agent. It is an organically modified and activated bentonite for aqueous systems.
  • Recommended as a gelling agent for water phases in personal care applications to provide thixotropic stabilization.
  • It shows good compatibility with emulsions, pigments. extenders, anionic and nonionic surfactants.
  • Used in creams, lotions, sunscreen, shampoos, liquid make-up and foundations.
  • Offers high viscosity and is highly effective in acidic, neutral and alkaline systems.
  • PURABYK -R 5510 is also used in shower gels, eye make up, face area and skin care products.
  • It is Ecocert and COSMOS approved.
  • It has a shelf life of 24 months.
