Bentonite. Optigel® CK XR by Eckart is a gelling agent with high pH and temperature stability. It is a natural hydrophilic layered silicate for thickening of the water phases in cosmetic applications.
  • It is also used as a thixotropic agent with excellent anti-settling, suspension and stabilizing properties.
  • It imparts light application in formulations.
  • It is suitable for personal care products such as cream & lotion, sunscreen, shower gel, shampoo and face mask.
  • It is also used in color cosmetics such as liquid make-up, foundation, blush and eye product.
  • It is compatible with most emulsions, pigments or extenders.
  • Optigel® CK XR is sterilized by gamma irradiation.
  • It has a shelf life of 24 months.
