EcoSense™ GL-60 HL Surfactant

Glycolipids. EcoSense™ GL-60 HL Surfactant by Dow is naturally derived bio-surfactant with emulsifying properties. It is sugar-based and exhibits 60% biodegradation within 28 days per OECD 301F. It enables the creation of highly desirable mild cleansing products. It offers effective solubilization of essential oils/fragrances and is suitable for clear system. It is cold processable, easy to handle, highly concentrated and flexible to fine-tuned properties. It is a sophorolipid with low HLB and low foaming. It contains a high lactone form percentage. Due to its high active content, it is used at low levels to boost the performance of other bio-based surfactants allowing naturally derived formulations. It provides low carbon footprint and low aquatic toxicity. It is used in rinse off shampoo, body wash, hand soap, facial cleanser, conditioner and leave-on products like micellar water, serum, wipe, make-up remover, lotion/cream, gel cream, hair leave-on conditioner.
