Chitosan Lactate (and) Alcohol. KNK-L200 by Dainichiseika Color & Chemicals acts as a hair fixative and film former. It is a non-allergic, biodegradable grade with antibacterial and moisturizing properties. It can be used as a viscosity modifier. It uses chitosan, isolated & purified from mushrooms and changed into lactate form that is easy to formulate. KNK-L200 finds application in formulating personal care products.
