Plantec Clear GL Olivate

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Clariant
Is obtained with a fatty acid composition from olive source that is naturally found in the hydrolipidic film protecting the surface of the epidermis and thus increases skin barrier function as well as skin sensorial properties. Based on natural ingredients it is a thickening agent for oily phase that associates transparency and affinity with the skin. Also acts as a high performance emollient with an elegant sensorial perception and active skin care properties. In various hydrocarbon and ester systems, it enhances the viscosity of the oil phase without living a greasy feeling. Imparts skin feel and very good spreadability to finished products by leaving a protective film. Stabilizes emulsion systems by texturing the oil phase. Can be use as an alternative to Petrolatum. Allows suspension of pigments, glitters and mineral sunscreens. In anhydrous systems, helps to maintain the cohesion between the waxes and oils and so prevents crystallization. Used in skin care (moisturizing, anti-ageing creams, night creams, make-up remover), sun care, ideal base for anhydrous gel formulations, body care (body lotions, massage oil), make-up (lip gloss, eye shadow, foundation).
