Cosphaderm® X 7

Xanthan Gum. Cosphaderm® X 7 by Cosphatec is a non-VOC thickening and gelling agent. It is a non-GMO heteropolysaccharide derived from the fermentation of glucose or sucrose by the bacterium Xanthomonas campestris. It can be used to increase the viscosity of aqueous solutions without causing any changes in taste or odor.

• It efficiently stabilizes cosmetic o/w-emulsions by preventing oil droplets of the emulsion to merge after mixing.
• It offers user-friendly handling and high tolerance against salts, acids and heat.
• It provides a high viscosity yield, skin conditioning, viscosity control and great skin feeling.
