Caprylhydroxamic Acid. Cosphaderm® CHA by Cosphatec is a non-GMO, non-VOC natural chelator and antimicrobial with a strong efficacy against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, especially yeasts and molds. It is the hydroxamic acid of caprylic acid. It remains undissociated even at neutral pH and is therefore applicable over a broad pH range upto pH 7.5.

It is used in stabilization of cosmetic formulations against metal ion-induced oxidation and protection against microorganisms at the same time.
It is free of BSE/TSE, dioxin, formaldehyde, gluten, lactose, pesticides and phthalates.
Cosphaderm® CHA complies with (EU) No. 1223/2009 regulation, Vegan, Halal, NATRUE approved and ISO 16128 certified.
It has a shelf life of 24 months.
