Isoeicosane. Acts as an emollient and plasticizer. It consists of purified aliphatic hydrocarbon with highly branched structure. It enhances application qualities. It may be added to Creasil® IC CG and Creasil® IP CG in lip gloss formulas to modify the application qualities and feel towards a more liquid and softer, less sticky feel. It is non-volatile, safe, non-irritating, leaves moderate residue and offers satiny, smooth feel. Can be used as co-solubilizers for non-hydrocarbon materials. Used in skin care products, color cosmetics emulsions, mascara and lipglosses.
